The Wro French Film evening on Wednesday 20th June 2018 in The Wro Loft starting at 7:30pm.
This is all about Manon’s revenge. It is an excellent film and can be viewed just as well without having seen the first film, Jean de Florette, because of the superb way the film is made it stands alone in its own right. However for those who saw the first film they will be keen to see just how Manon achieves her revenge for the death of her father played by Depardieu in the previous film, and the plot twist at the end presents us with what is essentially a tragic and deeply thought-provoking story…
